Thanks A Million
Local Business Networking Group Generates Over £2,000,000 In Its First Year
A local business networking group is celebrating its 1st anniversary with an incredible success story.
The Priory Chapter of Business Network International (BNI) is made up
of 20 local businesses who all meet up for breakfast every Thursday at
the Captain's Club in Christchurch.
The aim is to help its members generate more business by providing each
other with referrals, and within 12 months of forming the group has
passed over 1,000 pieces of business between them.
"We've calculated the value of the business passed between the BNI
members in our first year and it far exceeds £2 million", said Frazer
Yorke, Chapter Director.
"It's an incredible achievement and just highlights how powerful
business networking can be. Each Thursday we all meet up for breakfast
at the Captains Club but the main benefit of BNI is the work done by
our members during the working week. Because we all know what kind of
business each other is looking for, we're always on the look out for
referrals. Its like having 20 sales people working for you".
"And as our BNI chapter goes from strength to strength we're now
looking for other businesses to come and join us at the Captain's Club
Hotel each Thursday".
If local business people would like to come and join a BNI meeting they should contact Sue Pain on 01202 434 434.
